I received a domain registration renewal notice in the mail from Domain Registry of America, but I thought my registration was with you. What's going on?

You are the subject of an attempted "Domain Slam". Much like nefarious long distance companies that attempt to switch your long distance service without you knowing it, domain slammers attempt to get you to switch registrars or pay for renewals.

At first glance appears the paper appears to be a renewal notice and invoice sent to you by postal mail. Read the "invoice" carefully - the fine print will tell you that it is not a true invoice, but an offer for you to transfer your domain to their service at what is a higher rate per year or at worst it is a well organised scamm. Do not reply to these types of mails.
